Safety Expo Impact
The Safety Expo Has An Impact!
During the planning days in 2004 for the first Safety Expo April 19 and 20 of 2005, few had any real appreciation how this single community outreach event by the Sacramento Builders’ Exchange would have such a huge impact.
Take a glance below at the five years on which this event has been built.
• 4,534 individual attendees
• 7,892 total attendance (speakers, exhibitors, volunteers)
• 12,857 total registrations (workshops registered)
• 1,639 employers represented
• 271 topics
• 442 sessions
• 261 speakers or presenters
The 2010 Safety Exp* will again offer four tracks of training: Safety Certification sessions; Construction Management sessions, Safety workshops, and Special Projects like the VIP Forum. The Safety Expo will take place over three days, with the second day—Wednesday—featuring the annual Expo Trade Show and VIP Forums.
The planned 120 workshop sessions will remain $50 for all three days – preregistration - the fee on-site will be $75. The only added cost will be for lunch or special certifications that require a special manual or the preparation of a certification card.
Any add-on costs are passed through directly to the speaker or food and beverage catering.
If you need safety or business development training to get a job or to keep your job this might be the best $50 you will ever spend. Plan for it!
