Sponsors — The sponsor is
without a doubt the central reason why there can be an Expo. Employers, companies, and individuals who support and encourage safety, workforce development, and education within the construction and municipality community sponsor this event making this industry event possible and affordable to attend. With the generous support of industry organizations, we are able to continue offering the industry quality education, training, and certification programs.
Sponsorship and advertising dollars made it possible to provide the Expo with 80 presenters, 140 plus sessions; 40 topics, and compliance certification. We are pleased that the Golden State Builders Exchanges (GSBE) continue supporting this program as The Premier Sponsor of the 2010 Expo.
Supporters of the event not only contributed in the way of traditional monetary sponsorships, but underwrote unique components of the Expo — coffee and pastries for each of the three mornings of registration were provided complimentary to all attendees by The PENTA Building Group, while morning and afternoon refreshments during the trade show were sponsored by the Builders Exchange of Alameda County, which also provided registration opportunities for the Cypress Mandela Group of of Oakland to attend training sessions at the event. The Valley Contractors Exchange helped made it possible for several Butte College students to take advantage of compliance and equipment certification sessions. Roebbelen once again, sponsored the badge holders and McCarthy Building Companies provided the badge lanyards.
Sponsorship contributions along with in-kind support was received by the following industry organizations:
- Builders’ Exchange of Alameda County

Advertisers — The Attendee Registration brochure and the on-site Program Booklet afford companies and trade partners the opportunity to purchase advertising for fees listed below industry standards. The Attendee Registration brochure is mailed and distributed to more than 5,000 prospective registrants, suppliers, presenters, and workforce development agencies. The on-site Program Booklet is provided to all attendees — every registered attendee, exhibitor and presenter receives this comprehensive booklet which includes the program schedule of events and session workshops, speaker biographies, Safety Advisory Council and Programming Committee members; full contact information on all Expo exhibitors and Golden State Builders Exchanges, and a listing and product overview of all Safety Innovations Award candidates/nominees.
