Benefits of Exhibiting - Trade shows remain a great marketing tool – even in these economic down times.  Suppliers are able to meet with buyers who have specific needs, requirements, and budgets, while having less competition for their time and attention.  Marketing and promotions are the two crucial elements that drive sales and exhibiting is one of the best marketing tools available.  If a trade show is a part of your organizations’ marketing plan, consider exhibiting at the Expo where your concentrated audience is made up of industry professionals—continue to be visible and available to your current and prospective buyers, and keep your company in the forefront of your client-base now, and particularly as the economy improves.  This is the venue where business relationships are established and renewed; this is also an excellent opportunity to develop professional relationships with other exhibitors – your competitors, trade partners, sponsors, and session presenters.  You all have businesses and are at the trade show for the same result: to reach your target marketing audience:  Your sales representatives will have quality time to highlight and discuss your company’s products and services.  Your participation as a vendor demonstrates and validates your commitment, contribution and support this industry event!

Venue - Cosumnes River College in Sacramento will once again be the location for the sessions and trade show components of the 2010 Safety Expo.  The event will take place during Spring Break and we will have access to virtually the entire facility.  The exhibits will be located in the campus gymnasium in close proximity to the classrooms and food areas.  Vendors who have outside equipment displays will be placed in the closest proximity to the education sessions, depending on space needs and requirements.

Also new for 2010 is the partnership with the Public Equipment Managers Association (PEMA) – PEMA is an information and networking organization whose member base consists of Fleet Managers, Supervisors, Mechanics, and Parts Technicians from Public Fleets in Northern California along with other Professionals in the Vehicle and Equipment field.

PEMA’s purpose is to provide a means for free interchange of experience, technical knowledge, and opinions; to promote coordination of effort, training, cooperation and exchange of information between equipment maintenance personnel of governmental agencies and public utilities; to coordinate with private industry and in matters concerning the operation, maintenance and repair of a Public Motor Vehicle Fleet.  PEMA by partnering with Consumnes River College (CRC), and the 2010 Safety Expo, has scheduled eight topics in sixteen sessions over the three days where you will have an opportunity to display and demonstrate the products and equipment your company makes available to the industry.  Don’t miss this unparalleled opportunity to meet hundreds of your potential end users during this event – we are pleased to have PEMA partner with the 2010 Safety Expo and welcome their attendee and supplier participation.

Join us for the 2010 Safety Expo – Statewide Safety Training & Construction Management Expo – March 30 – April 1 at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento.  We want to welcome back those of you who have supported this trade show and making this event a success!  We would also like to extend an invitation to those organizations who have not yet participated to consider being a part of this important industry program.

Top Reasons to Exhibit at Trade Shows:

Sales - Generate sales leads, close sales, build relationships with prospects, advance the sales cycle, cross-sell existing clients, and recruit new distribution, train new sales people

Marketing Communications - Build your brand, re-position your brand, increase awareness, survey market awareness; interview clients, generate publicity

Product Marketing - Launch new products, survey attendees about new product ideas, research competitor’s products and messaging

Executive Management - Keep up on industry trends, meet with key clients, meet with key business partners, profitably build the business

2010 Safety Expo Trade Show Costs - The Safety Expo has reduced the cost of exhibit space consistently over the last couple of years to help facilitate and generate further interest on behalf of the industry’s suppliers of products and services to be present at the Safety Expo.  There is no better time than now to take advantage of the early rate for indoor space—the rate for a 10’x10’ booth is $850 (multiples of 2 or more $750)  – secure your indoor space now, and you will also receive space outside for larger equipment and displays.  We want to help market and promote you to our registered and potential attendees; include your company in the on-site Attendee Program booklet, as well as posting your product information on our web site!  Exhibiting organizations are welcome and encouraged to co-exhibit with a partnering company to add more value to the cost of booth space.

Exhibitors who plan to utilize outside space only for equipment, large or small, will need to contact Expo staff directly at: 916-442-8991 to arrange for space allocation and determination of fees.  Requests will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Attendee Profile - For 2010, we have two attendee group dynamics represented at the Expo event:

Contractor/Construction Community – both commercial and residential contractors - Attendees will be made-up of project managers; safety; health, and environmental professionals; superintendents; principals, warehouse/facilities managers, purchasing agents, and other decision-makers responsible for purchasing product.

Public Equipment Managers Association (PEMA) - Attendees participating in PEMA sessions are fleet managers, supervisors, mechanics, and parts technicians from public fleets in Northern California along with other professionals in the vehicle and equipment field. If you are a potential supplier of products and services to this industry, you are encouraged to exhibit at the Expo trade show!
